PhDr. Jan Benda, Ph.D.
Psychologist, psychotherapist and coach with an interest in spirituality, especially the Buddha's teachings and shamanic work. He underwent training in satotherapy, Pesso therapy (PBSP), Emotion-Focused Therapy, training for working with altered states of consciousness and a number of other courses.
He likes to travel to Southeast Asia. He lived for some time as a Buddhist monk in Sri Lanka. He applies the knowledge he has acquired through meditation practice both in clinical work and in working with managers and in soft-skills training.
He is the author of a number of courses focused on the development of self-knowledge, self-confidence and the ability of intuition and emotional intelligence. He manages the Facebook page " mindfulness.cz " focused on the use of mindfulness in psychotherapy. As part of his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, he is engaged in the research of self-compassion.
