Grof® Legacy Training - Holos (1st and 2nd run)
Abstract
Introducing the Grof Legacy Training - Holos follow-up course, which focuses on psychotherapeutic theory and practice and skills in integrating holotropic states of consciousness when working with trauma, emotional disorders and other mental and psychosomatic illnesses. Includes teaching psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy within a legal and safe framework.
The course lasts 2.5 years and upon completion you will be able to provide individual integrative psychotherapy, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (depending on current legislation), accompany people in psychospiritual crisis or with a challenging psychedelic experience (difficult trip) as a certified Holos Transpersonal Therapist. As part of your self-experience, you will learn about different types of holotropic states of consciousness and a range of integrative techniques and approaches, such as mindfulness, sandplay, symbol work, music therapy, art therapy, bioenergetics, the technique of holotropic breathing in water or to live music - Holotropic LIVE. You will be able to use transpersonal psychology methods to support the treatment of addictions and other selected psychosomatic and psychiatric illnesses.
Training will be both in Czech and English.
Who is the training for?

Holders of the Grof® Legacy Training - Holos certificate will be admitted without a selection process.

Grof® Legacy Training certificate holders from other training centres must pass an interview.

Training structure
In the second level, we will also work in a closed group, which can be joined by certified Grof breathwork facilitators (GLT) from other training centers to complete the number of 24 trainees.
During the 2.5 years you will go through:

3 six-day modules at the Holos Center

4 five-day modules in the Netherlands

1 weekend supervision module at the Holos Centre

1 long weekend at the Holos Centre for HB in water techniques

1 12-day certification module
The training modules at the Holos Centre combine theoretical lectures, psychotherapy skills training and self-experience, either with the Grof breathwork technique or ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
The training modules in the Netherlands again include a theoretical part and a self-experience part, working with a different type of holotropic state of consciousness.
A weekend supervision module is included at the beginning of the second stage of training and is an introduction for trainees to supervised therapeutic work. It includes lectures on supervision as well as actual group supervision. Subsequently, trainees choose their own supervisor for individual supervision during the second stage of the training.
The weekend Holotropic Breathing in Water Self-Experience Module provides a unique opportunity for learning about techniques for working with birth trauma in an aquatic environment.
The certification double module, similar to the first level of training, will include completion of theory and skills practice as well as final tests, exams and actual certification.
Conditions for granting certificates
In order to obtain the Holos Transpersonal Therapist Certificate in the second level of training, trainees must meet the following conditions:

Attend all modules in person. Any absence for a serious reason must be made up with an individual study plan, extra payments are charged according to the price list.

Fulfillment of all points of mandatory practice, self-experience, minimum number of breathing sessions, specified hours of psychotherapy, supervision, internships.

Ongoing completion of all assigned tasks

Self-experience of Grof breathing, holotropic breathing, or psychedelic assisted psychotherapy outside of training for a minimum of 40 sessions for certification (both pre-training and in-training self-experience count)

Minimum of 150 hours of group and individual supervision

Development of casework from your practice with clients in the last year of training
Price and payment terms
The price of the follow-up study is set as follows:
Second level of training (2.5 years): 327 000,-- CZK incl. VAT.
The price includes.

Teaching materials - teaching scripts, videos, textbooks

Tuition, accommodation and meals for the duration of the training modules - full board, both at the Holos Centre and at the training centre in the Netherlands.
Payment options:

At once before the start of the first module. (1x 327 000,-- CZK)

or in three instalments according to an agreed payment plan (3x 109 000,-- CZK)
The trainee undertakes to pay all instalments by signing the training contract.

Start of training and dates
We are planning to start the training with the first module at the Holos Centre 11 - 16 May 2025.
The second module is then planned to be held in the Netherlands from 2 - 6 November 2025.
Dates for further modules will be announced one year in advance.
The training can only be opened if the minimum capacity of 15 participants is reached. The maximum number of participants is 24. In order to open an international training group, at least 4 English-speaking participants are required.
