PaedDr. Irena Johanka Savková
Irena Johanka Savková is a special pedagogue with 28 years of experience, a lecturer, mentor, music therapist and university teacher, who has been working for 15 years as the director of special schools at Diakonie ČCE Ostrava.
She works as a university lecturer at the Lower Silesian University DSW Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences in Wrocław and at the University HUMANITAS Faculty of Education in Sosnowiec.
She cooperates with the Faculty of Education of the University of Ostrava and the HUMANITAS filia University Prague.
Her professional practice focuses on the latest special pedagogical and therapeutic approaches and methods that can positively influence the complex development of an individual's personality. She also educates herself in the field of psychology in Prague and completes the INPP training in Neuromotor Immaturity Therapy in Bratislava.
She is a founding member of the European Association of Holistic Music Therapy. For the last 8 years she has been actively engaged in Lubomír Holzer's Holistic Music Therapy, implementing individual and group therapies for clients from the school and social spheres, the public and experiential training for the public, and courses for working groups of helping professions.
She is connected with the International Transpersonal Center Holos by music therapy practice. She creates improvised live music on folk instruments, ethnic natural tuning within Holotropic live music, conducts weekend music therapy workshops, where she introduces participants to the basics of playing natural tuning instruments, principles and effects of active and receptive forms of music therapy.
